  	There is one Ancestry.com source that indicates Caroline Mador died 19 Aug 1881 in Chicago. She was widowed. So, she might have outlived her husband. The Cook County records only go back to 1878; it is possible that her husband Edouard died sometime in the 1870s and it's not captured there.
